Kiran Prasad is the Executive in Charge of Industrial Light & Magic Mumbai responsible for the day to day studio operation and production. She brings 25 years of vast experience from multiple industries to her role including six years in visual effects.
Prior to ILM, Prasad served as Head of Operations at Technicolor, Head of Production at MPC, and Head of Studio at DNEG. While at MPC, she oversaw production for the Academy Award-winning film 1917, Disney’s live-action Lion King, Maleficent, Pikachu, and Aquaman, among others. Prasad’s earlier experience includes roles in Marketing, Customer Experience, and Learning and Development at global organizations Coca-Cola, Bharti Wal-Mart, and AXA.
Prasad is a graduate of Gujarat University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and South Gujarat University with a Master of Business Administration in Marketing. She also holds a diploma in Fine Arts from the Delhi Collage of Art and is a certified HR professional.
In 2013, she was awarded the Woman Super Achiever Award by the Asia Pacific HRM Congress.
